I created this piece to celebrate my Irish heritage. My Father's Father was only 12 years old when he immigrated to New Zealand to find work. I have always had a fondness for everything Irish. This is one of the fun things about Crazy quilts - you can express yourself in any way you like! There are no patterns, no rules, just fabrics and stitches!
