Chatelaine set

This needlework chatelaine set was stitched for my 22 year old daughter for Christmas.  She has just started stitching so of course I am trying to encourage her all the way!!  The set is stitched in YLI silk ribbon on black silk dupion.  The set was lots of fun to make and includes the scissor keeper and fob, needlebook, and tape measure.  The colors match the sewing basket that I got her also and filled with all sorts of goodies!

Daffodil Box

I designed and created this box top for my sister for Christmas.  One of her favorite flowers is the daffodil hence the daffodils and jonquils in the design.  I complemented them with the blue forget me nots.  I really enjoyed making the pearl and ribbon lattic in the center which I think sets of the circle of flowers.
